M. Jeane (Christy) Sprague, 79, passed away on March 6, 2011. The daughter of the late Ernest and Virginia Knief. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Karyl Sprague. After graduating high school She attended Columbus Art school and was a homemaker. She continued to paint thought out her life. Jeane is survived by six children, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church, 7879 N. 700 W., McCordsville, IN 46055 on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11:00am. Visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

I lived next door to Ginny in Degraff when I was a young child. She was very important to me as was her family. I remember how beautiful Christy was and how talented she was. Indeed I have a water color picture she painted of me. I am so sorry to hear that her life has come to an end and that her family must now do without her.
